I have been in Demorest, Georgia for the past two years as a Visiting Artist at Piedmont College. In August, I will be moving to Tallahassee, Florida to join the faculty at Florida State University as an Assistant Professor of Art. Now that I am nearing the end of my time in Georgia, I have finally updated the Projects page to include my most recent body of work, Insider(Outsider), which showed at the Mason-Scharfenstein Museum of Art in October.

I am happy to share two great reviews of my current show, Spread, up at Hamiltonian Gallery, DC, until May 07. At the Washington Post:

At the Washington City Paper "Spread" by Allison Spence and "Hot Water" by Jim Leach by Margaret Carrigan
There's just one more week to view the show!
Mark Jenkins has written a short review for my current show in the Washington Post. It is viewable here. Also for those of you in DC, there is a nice little blurb in the Summer 2015 print edition of Capitol File. #reviews
